Position: Odoo Functional | Presales

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia

PT Farobar Tekno Daya is an IT consulting company that focuses on Odoo Implementation, Data Analytics, and Tailored Applications.

The role is responsible for driving end-to-end Odoo implementations and supporting the presales cycle through discovery, solution design, product demonstrations, scoping, and proposal support to win and successfully deliver ERP projects.

Responsibilities

  • Lead discovery workshops, gather requirements, and map business processes to Odoo.

  • Build and deliver tailored Odoo demos and proofs of concept aligned with client needs.

  • Scope solutions, draft Statements of Work (SOW), and support proposal/RFP responses with effort and licensing estimates.

  • Configure core Odoo modules (e.g., CRM, Sales, Purchase, Inventory, Accounting, MRP) and set up workflows.

  • Manage implementation activities, including data migration, testing/UAT, end-user training, and go-live support.

  • Collaborate with sales teams, technical teams, and other functions within the company to ensure successful presales and delivery.

  • Build and maintain good relationships with clients and principals.

Qualifications

  • Minimum Bachelor’s degree (S1).

  • 2–5 years of experience as an Odoo Functional Consultant and/or Presales Consultant.

  • Proven end-to-end Odoo implementation experience (ideally 2+ projects).

  • Strong presales skills, including discovery, demo scripting, solutioning, scoping, and proposal creation.

  • Hands-on configuration experience across multiple Odoo modules and familiarity with best practices.

  • Solid understanding of data migration, testing, and change management.

  • Valid Odoo Certification is encouraged.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of Odoo technical aspects is an advantage.

  • Experience building custom reports using Odoo Spreadsheet and creating dashboards on top of it.

  • Enthusiasm for AI and Data Analytics.

We’re Hiring: Project-Based Odoo Technical Developer (Remote/Hybrid)

Contract Type: Project-Based (3–6 months, extendable)

Location: Indonesia (Remote/Hybrid)

Farobar is growing, and we’re expanding our delivery capability! With rising client demand and ongoing Odoo implementations, we’re looking for a Project-Based Odoo Technical Developer who can help bring smart, scalable ERP solutions to life.

If you enjoy solving business problems with clean code and love building on Odoo, we want to meet you.

What You Will Do

  • Develop and customize Odoo modules (Python, XML, QWeb) for client projects
  • Translate functional requirements from the Functional Consultant into technical solutions
  • Fix bugs, perform code reviews, and optimize performance
  • Integrate Odoo with third-party applications (API/REST/JSON)
  • Provide technical support during UAT and deployment
  • Document technical features and collaborate within a small, agile team

Requirements

Must Have

  • 1–3 years of experience in Odoo development (CE or Enterprise)
  • Proficiency in Python, PostgreSQL, and Odoo ORM
  • Experience building and maintaining custom modules
  • Strong understanding of XML/QWeb, views, and report customization
  • Familiarity with Git versioning
  • Ability to work independently and deliver within deadlines (project-based)

Nice to Have

  • Experience with CRM, Sales, Accounting, Inventory, HR, Manufacturing
  • API integration experience
  • Deployed modules on Odoo.sh or Docker
  • Custom module
  • Pre-sales experience
